edition troubles

    Hi to all !!I have a blog that is in hebrew (hebrew is written from right to left), with an english interfaz. A lot of the text on my blog, anyway, happens to be in english. I have to copy paste a lot of material and present it with images, etc. I´m all the time having trouble with the english texts, because the punctuation, quotation marks, etc, all goes completely wrong. But until now I´ve fixed it with Word, praying, etc, and trying 1000 things.
    Now since yesterday I´m having a big problem, I simply can not put right a very simple text.
    I´ll give you the link for you to see if you can help me.

    In this case I passed it by Words before, because it was an email, but the same happened trying to put it in a notepad first.
    Pleeeease any suggestions?
    Suggestions have to be quickly, because I´m leaving the post there only to see if some of you can see it and help me fix it, but I have to delete it soon, cause it doesn´t look as I like, and I don´t want the people to see it. Public here is from Israel and this can cause a desvastating bad impression.:)

    Thanks a lot on advance

    I want to tell u that the original text that I´m copying and pasting (thousand times until now I tried) is completely the opposite: from left to right, and that´s what I want to publish.

    You should enclose all English text in this code (in the html post editor, of course):
    <div style="text-align:justify;" dir="ltr">TEXT_HERE</div>

    Can also be “left” instead of “justify”; I just think that, since your principal alignment is to the right, justified text will look better than the staggered line endings leftalign will give you.

    But note that you shouldn’t be pasting directly from Word:

    Use a simple text editor (e.g. Notepad), or Live Writer. If you do have to paste from Word, do it via the “Paste from Word” or the “Paste as Plain Text” buttons, then format the text in the post editor.

    Hello, and thanx for the answer.!!

    I don´t know exactly how to enclose the english text in the code, can u specify a little more? Do I put the hole text instead of the words TEXT_HERE in the code??

    I know I shouldn’t use Word.

    I changed in the htmlcode that the word “justify” by “left” and it just changed the text to left, but not question marks, symbols, punctuation.

    Yes, my “TEXT_HERE” indication stands for the complete English text you have in your post. That is, make sure you are or you switch to the HTML post editor and paste this before the beginning of the text:
    <div style="text-align:justify;" dir="ltr">
    and this after the end of the text:
    </div>
    Copy them from here and paste them exactly as they are.

    (If you want them explained, the div with its brackets means start of a section, the parts after div mean how this section should be, and the slashed div with its brackets means end of section. The dir=ltr part means ‘direction left to right’: that will take care of punctuation etc.)

    Hi, I’m still with this..
    I did it as u said and it worked. I paste din notepad and then in th HTML, with the code, everything as u said and it came perfect, but as soon as I started to put it dolors, it came to the right again.
    What can I do for the colors? The text without colors is too monothone.

    I don’t see why colors should be a problem. You do that in your VISUAL editor, highlighting the phrase you want to change and clicking the color button. I don’t know how you did it, but the closing div tag has moved right after “December 2008”, so the code doesn’t affect the rest of the text anymore: go to the html post editor, cut the slash-div (together with its brackets) from there and paste it at the end of the text.
