The editor is not coming up under appearance. If i want to add in the code for my site to be google searchable, is there any other way?

That’s because your site at http://earthtoyou.org/ is hosted by wordpress.COM. It is not a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting so whatever you are reading does not apply to it.
