How do I disable and get rid of the Block Editor? I wish to return to the Classic Editor system. This new one has been given an extensive trial effort and it honestly does not suit what I wish to do. The Block Editor is a pain to use and makes something complex when it had been filled with simplicity before the update. Block editor is s unnecessary filled with complexity and difficulties. Please share the process to return to using the Classic Editor system.

While most users agree with you, WP are obstinately determined and I am afraid that you are knocking you head against a brick wall. At the top of the forum page where you entered your comment there is a thread with over 380 comments, and it is worth reading some of them.
There is no need to get rid of the block editor for the tiny minority, the classic editor is still accessible but should, in my opinion, be retained as the default: but WordPress disagree.

  • Hi there,

We are in the process of deprecating the WordPress.com classic editor at My Site ->Posts, and once that is done there will no longer be a way to set the classic editor as the default option. But you can still use the classic editor to edit and create posts from the Posts screen in WP-Admin. Alternatively you can also use the classic block within the block editor:

    Classic Block
