Editor Adding Unwanted Line-Breaks

  I’ve been running a site on WordPress for a few years now, on one page in particular, I have a table which contains a list of links to other websites.

  Ever since upgrading to the new editor, whenever I click the Edit button, any cell which has more than one line adds a space/ empty line break, or possibly a paragraph open/close tag, between the first entry on the page and the next.

  It’s driving me mad because it’s a long list with a lot of information and so each time I edit it now I need to scroll through every entry to delete the unwanted spaces.

  Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  For clarity, after clicking the Edit button, a cell within the table looks like this:

  Link 1

  Link 2
  Link 3

  Whereas I want it to look like this:

  Link 1
  Link 2
  Link 3

  Deleting the extra line fixes it but takes me ages, every time I want to edit the page!
