Editor default mode has changed to text – need to hit visual tab every time

    The default editor mode/view has switched to text mode. I tried clearing the Explorer cache but it didn’t help. I tried restarting and then clearing Explorer cache and it still defaults to the “text” mode. I then tried Firefox and it did the same. Is there a way to restore the editor mode to “visual” editor mode/view? This is new. I can still switch to visual manually.

    Hi there,

    The editor should stay at whatever you have left it at most recently as long as your browser is writing cookies from WordPress.com. You may need to try logging off and logging on again, but it should retain the setting.
