Editor Error

  I was working on a blog post and all of a sudden the page refreshed with the following error message: ‘The editor has encountered an unexpected error.’ And there are three buttons — Attempt Recovery, Copy Post Text, and Copy Error. But none of them do anything. I tried to just hit ‘Copy Post Text’ and then start a new post, but I am getting the same error message. Hoping someone can help.

  It seems that your site is not hosted on WordPress.com but a self-hosted site using the open source WordPress software.
