  Hi, I’m a newbie in wordpress and I wanted to ask help on how to adjust the code from Bravenet. I have a code that I can paste in a text box in a side bar widget and it goes something like this:

  <!-- Start Bravenet.Com Service Code -->
<a href="void();">Tell a Friend to Visit</a><br>
<a href="http://www.bravenet.com/webtools/announce/">Free Tell-a-Friend by Bravenet.com</a>
<!-- End Bravenet.Com Service Code -->

  however, when I pasted it and viewed my blog, and clicked on the link, nothing happens. WP says the command is void. Got any ideas how to make this work? I’d really appreciate it.

  Due to the lack of security that it affords, Javascript is disabled on wp.com blogs.

  Looking at the source code on the demo page of the bravenet tell a friend service shows some Javascript.

  Unfortunately that means that wp.com will strip the javascript as unsafe content and you won’t be able to use the service.
