Editor is screwed up on Vivaldi

  For lack of a better way to put it.

  The short version is this, when editing my blog on Vivaldi, the editor looks like this. It’s weirdly zoomed out, stretched all the way to the edge of the page, and frankly uncomfortable to use.

  Obviously I can just use the latter browser so it’s not an enormous problem, but it’s still annoying, so I thought I’d at least register that this is a thing that happens, for whatever reason.

  Hello there,

  Thank you for providing the screenshots.

  That is most odd behaviour.

  Vivaldi is chrome based to a degree, can you tell me if this happens on Chrome please?

  Hi there,

  So, this is a Vivaldi issue. To my knowledge that browser comes with a built-in ad-blocker which might interfere with how a page is rendered. Can you turn off that feature and see if the WordPress.com editor loads correctly?

  Tried disabling both Vivaldi’s on-board blocker and uBlock (which I don’t usually have on on WordPress anyway, but I figured it’d be better to be sure), and neither seems to have changed anything. Still looks messed up.

  Hi there!

  Sorry to hear that it didn’t work. Are you, by any chance, using other extensions that could be conflicting? Can you try disabling all extensions you may be using and see if that helps?

  Also, does the problem persist if you open a private window and log in to WordPress.com there to open a post/page in the editor?

  I don’t use any other extensions, (I tried turning just uBlock off to see if that helped also, and it did not) and opening a private webpage doesn’t seem to fix it either. :

  Hi there!

  Thanks for checking that. I understand the issue doesn’t occur in Chrome, can you please try another browser (like Firefox) and see if it works there? It’s possible something specific to Vivaldi may be causing the issue. We’d like to be sure that the issue only occurs on Vivaldi and no other browsers. So it’d be amazing if you could try one more browser like Firefox and see what happens there.
