Editor is STILL gone

I’ve created a group blog. When I am logged in as the user who created the blog, I always have the rich text editor. But when I log in as another user (to test how it will appear to my editors), there is no rich text editor – not in IE7 and not in Firefox – never has been. I tried the ctrl-F5 and still no text editor. I tried switching the role to author and to administrator, and still no rich text editor.

My brand-new group members are going to get frustrated very fast if they do not have that rich text editor! How do I make sure they will have it?

You need to tell each editor to set it up.

After they log on, they should go to My Dashboard, then Profile. There is a check box there for “Use rich text editor when writing.”

Actually i have the same problem as well. When I click on Manage Post or Pages, the rich text editor doesn’t come up. In fact my profile is already set to use Rich Text. I tried enable and disabling it…no luck.

I am also using IE 7.

If you have force cleared your browser and still cannot see the editor then IMO you have no recourse other than to contact staff through sending in a feedback. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/09/06/force-refresh/
