Editor missing

    I don’t see my editor. I tried doing all that was to do. by checking the users > Profile > the tiny box to check. Tried everything but it cant be done. my editor missing

    If you login and find that the Rich Text Editor (or WYSIWYG or Toolbar as it’s also called) has disappeared please be assured we have not removed it. It is very probably a browser cache error and it is very easily cured.

    With your browser open on the Write Post screen press:

    Ctrl and F5 together (Windows)
    shift+reload (Mac)
    F5 (Linux)

    This forces a full page reload and the buttons will appear.

    Or
    Go to Users > Your Profile.
    There’s a box there that needs ticking for it to appear

    Or
    If you are using the Adblock extension in Firefox, open it, click Preferences, click Exception Rules and add this as a filter:

    @@|http://*.wordpress.com

    If none of these options resolve the issue please post again stating your operating system and which browser and version of it you are using.
