Editor missing in my Appearance menu

  Hi there – The option to access ‘Editor’ is missing from my Apperance menu on my site. Can you help me with this matter?

  Hey there.

  You are looking for a feature (Theme Editor) that is only available when you are using a self hosted WordPress website.

  WordPress.com is different in that it hosts your site completely but to ensure everything runs smoothly we have to turn off a few tricky features like this one.

  It occurs to me that you might be looking for the CSS Customizer option, here’s a link just in case:

  We have many upgrades and features that cover most bases, if you fill me in the details of what you are trying to do I can give you some better advice on what would fit you best.

  Hi there –

  Thanks for your reply. I was actually trying to integrate Google Analytics within my site to be able to gather more detailed data than the stats page on WordPress alone.

  Do you know if this is possible at all?

  Hi Parrus.

  We don’t allow Google Analytics since we already have a statistics function in WordPress.com.

  Are you missing any specific feature from Analytics?
