Editor: No Layout As Per Blog

    I tried to write a new blog article this morning but the editor does not format the blog page proportions. In fact, the writing block starts at the extreme left of the window and when you type it continues in one line without formatting…just goes on in one line.
    Essentially the editor window does not maintain the page proportions just a blank canvas.
    I have tried various templates to no avail.
