editor problems

  The new editor has reversed on me (categories and all that stuff are now on the left) and I am not being allowed to switch to the old editor, nor am I allowed to enter content into the new editor. The new editor will not scroll up and down or give me space for the material.

  I am running Chrome and cleared my cache no change.

  What gives?

  Hi!

  First, the classic editor is still available here:

  http://ldsrr91.wordpress.com/wp-admin

  Just hover over Posts and click “Add New” from that page.

  Yes – that is the intended appearance. We’ve moved the menu to the left to more closely mimic the rest of the interfaces around WordPress.com.

  Nor am I allowed to enter content into the new editor

  Can you explain what you mean by this? When you click your cursor in the new editor and start typing, does it not display your input?

  The new editor will not scroll up and down or give me space for the material.

  The editor is presented at a default size that should resemble something like this:

  However, as you type, you should have the ability to scroll once you exceed that default height.

  Using the link you provided, I hovered over all the posts on that particular page, and nothing popped up (dialogue boxes). I understand now that the page has been changed to reflect the new image (moved to the left). I hit the toggle icon and now have the ability to enter data into the new editor.

  Being an old coot, the default size for all this is WAY TOO SMALL for my tired old eyes to read.

  I still wish to use the old editor and it is NOT giving me the option, the page you suggested, did not have it or I missed something.

  I do however, appreciate your help in this matter.

  Okay Jeremy I found the old editor, see, even a blind hog can find an acorn from time to time.

  Sure good to be “back home” and not in all this new stuff.
