Editor Scrolls to Top After Adding Hyperlinks

  It’s all wordpress.com sites, not the one I picked.

  Every time I add a hyperlink to selected text post or page, in the text and visual editor, the editor scrolls back to the top of the content. I have seen this happen in both Chrome and Safari browsers in Mac OS X Sierra.

  I do not see this behavior in any of my self hosted WordPress sites.

  But it makes it insanely tedious to add hyperlinks to a document that has like more than one paragraph.

  Hi,

  Thanks for this info. I hadn’t noticed that behavior before because I always use the old wp-admin post and page editors. It doesn’t happen on those. The only time the editor scrolls to the top on the wp-admin editors is when you update the page, post, etc. Imo, this is just one more in a long list of reasons for preferring the old editors. : -)
