Editor stopped working?
-
@sassifer
Snap preview is at best problematic in my experience. It comes and goes, and has even prevented images on my blog – and sometimes my blog – from loading which is why I banished it from my blog.Most likely it will begin working again at some point but it’s all up to snap really.

@nelas
You might want to send this to support so they can check it out http://wordpress.com/contact-support -
Yes, I’m sending… I just decided to try a last option and… voilá it worked!
Go to Options >> Writing >> and disable the check box
“WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”
Update options!
It is working for me now, although “code” tag is not showing up anymore…

I re-enable the checkbox and it is also working… Code tag is back! Did WP fix it? Or it wasn’t a bug at all?
hehe, oh dear…

@thesacredpath
I wasn’t editing or posting last night when the bug apparently occurred, but I’m still having edit problems. The post was originally composed by another contributor, but she didn’t start it until 9:30am Eastern.I tried logging out, clearing the cache, closing the browser, and starting over. I still wasn’t able to add a “More” tag successfully. (And I should mention, given timethief’s comment, that I’m checking the home page to see if the “More” tag has been added.)

@thepumphandle
For more tags you might try what sassifer is doing and add them in code view.“WOOT! I can put “more” tags in if I edit them in the HTML editor ONLY.”
-
Yes, that worked – thank you!
I clicked the HTML tab, saw that the “more” tag was there (even though I hadn’t inserted it since my last failed attempt), and hit “save.” That’s all it took!

Quite frankly!!! This is too much!!! :-(
I have at long last downloaded a blog editor and I hate it. I miss the WordPress skin. Never the less I have used it and written a post. When I copy-past WP refuses to take it! It is a new edit of a draft that WP messed up yesterday.
No matter what I do WP publishes the messed up draft from yesterday.
WHAT is taking so long? Is staff still working on this? It really is difficult to say patient!!!

@universal
Are you publishing the post from the blog editor or are you writing it in the editor and then pasting it into the WP editor to publish it? -
-
The damn thing publishes an add on my blog! In the post! Are these people going to asvertise themselves in every post I write? NO way!!! It says: “Powered by Qumana” – That REALLY p*sses me off! How do I get rid of that?

@universal
From the Quama technical support site:To turn off the footer:
PC: Edit > Preferences > Editor tab > uncheck Insert Qumana tagline in new posts
Mac: Qumana > Preferences > Editor tab > uncheck Insert Qumana tagline in new posts -

Sorry for speaking in capital letters like that. I just completely lost it for a while there.
:-D))))
