Editor theme bug css

    Hello. I am using the new theme, Editor for my blog http://hgrobert.com
    Hello,

    I have two questions:

    1, The theme showcase says that Editor’s social links menu supports Linkedin, but when I type in my Linkedin url, it doesn’t not generate the correct Linkedin social icon, as it does for Twitter (which I have on my profile). Can you guys fix this bug?

    2, I need a little custom CSS help. I would like to add my sites copyright info to the bottom of the site, into the same line, next to “blog at wordpress” and “theme: editor”…

    This is my copyright text:

    H. G. Robert © 2014

    Hope you can help.
    Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    H. G. Robert

    Hi H.G.

    it doesn’t not generate the correct Linkedin social icon, as it does for Twitter (which I have on my profile). Can you guys fix this bug?

    Currently, I am seeing the correct Linkedin logo as seen here:

    Screen Shot

    It is “in”. Can you show me what you are seeing on your site? I found that it is also linked correctly to your Linkedin page.

    2, I need a little custom CSS help. I would like to add my sites copyright info to the bottom of the site, into the same line, next to “blog at wordpress” and “theme: editor”…

    Sure! Please go to Appearance > Customize > CSS in your Dashboard and add the following:

    .site-info:after {
    	content: "| H. G. Robert © 2014";
    }

    Then you should be set! Let me know if you have any questions with this!

    Hello,

    Thank you for your fast response. I appreciate it.
    As far as the first question, it has been already fixed by WordPress.

    Here you can see the conversation just scroll down in the comment section:

    New Themes: Editor and Sequential

    The CSS you gave me helped me to insert my copyright info, but it doesn’t have the same dark color as the other credit info next to it.

    Can you please resend me the CSS with color code in it included to match the “Blog at WordPress.com. | The Editor Theme.” text?

    Thank you for your help in advance.

    Change the CSS I provided you to this:

    .site-info:after {
    	content: "| H. G. Robert © 2014";
    	color: #494949;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hello again. Thank you for your help and patience. I was just wondering how to modify the css so that the “|” line before my copyright info would be exempt from the #494949 color code. This way it would match with the other “|” line color between “Blog at WordPress.com” and “The Editor Theme.”

    Sorry, I should have been more specific.

    Again, I appreciate your help.

    So unfortunately, I can’t add two colors within the :before selector, but what you can do is change the color of the pipe to match the color of the text. If you add this, it’ll all be one color:

    .sep, .site-info {
         color: #494949;
    }
