  Hi there. What exactly is the feature you need? We already have a calendar widget you can add to your site, and you can embed a Google calendar. Instructions at these links:

  If you just want something to remind you when to post, I suggest creating a Google calendar for that purpose. You can then embed it on a private page for your own benefit if you don’t want your readers to see it.

  Well, I used to teach those kinds of workshops and I’m pretty sure they’re available in your nearest city as well for $100 and up. Or there’s teh book WordPress for Dummies, or the course on Lynda.com.
