Edits do not take…

I am going to ask this again, and please don’t pass me by….I am not imagining things.
Whenever I make changes, as in edits, they DO NOT take effect. Whenever I need a break or space between lines (visual and text) it shows fine in the edit but when I “view post” everything is back to the way it was…. I feel like I am constantly spinning my wheels.
I am doing edit after edit after edit after edit… It should not take me two hours to post an update. What gives please….?

I am talking about adding BREAKS between paragraphs. I have added them via the visual method and via
in text. I hit save, preview and they are gone. What do I have to do to fix this? -

I do not know what this means. Do you mean you hit Enter? Was all of the text in the Paragraph format? Did you copy and paste the contents before editing?

Also, hitting Enter at the end of a paragraph enters one line. If you want more lines, continuing to hit Enter will not succeed. That is what I mean when I say that blogging software is not the same as word processing software. You have to make multi-line breaks in HTML code using /br.

Yes I mean hitting enter. As for text I use <p> for paragraph and
for break. I have just come to accept that I will have to edit and edit and edit to get what I want. -
P won’t work. As you have seen, it does not work.
Use /br. That is the correct tag to get what you want. Use the correct tag and it works.
