Edits not applying

    I just noticed that, if I’m on my mobile Chrome browser (Android phone), and looking at my blog and see, say a typo, etc. and click “edit”, and proceed editing then click Update, it says Post Updated but the edits don’t apply.

    This is more like a bug report because if I edit via the WordPress app, the edits do apply. The edits also apply if I go to (mysite).wordpress.com/wp-admin and do the edits from there.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi @irisoniris,
    This maybe happening because the chrome browser on your mobile is caching your site, due to which it displays the old version of the site. This is done to save your mobile data and reduce the number of browser requests to the server.

    So to solve this,
    1. Disable data saver on your mobile chrome browser.
    ——OR——
    2. Clear the cache of your browser. Follow these steps to clear the cache on your mobile chrome browser:

    • Make and update to your post and publish that update.
    • Click on menu(three dots on the top left)
    • Click Settings
    • Click Privacy(under Advanced)
    • Scroll at the very bottom and click Clear browsing data
    • Check if the updates are visible now
