edits not working

  These edits don’t work today:
  Page order – I set a number, save, update, refresh the site – no change
  Page visibility – I change to Private, OK, update – no change
  Child & Parent pages – I change a page from being a child to No Parent, update – no change
  Edit image – crop would not work
  How do I manually backup my site?
  Do you automatically update my site to the latest version of WP?

  It looks like you currently have a custom menu enabled here:

  https://heartlivingarts.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php?action=locations

  The page order in the menu is overridden by the custom menu. Can you make the changes in the custom menu instead?

  Page visibility – I change to Private, OK, update – no change

  Can you explain what you mean by “no change?” The page will still be present in your menu due to the custom menu mentioned above.

  Child & Parent pages – I change a page from being a child to No Parent, update – no change

  Again, could you elaborate? I believe this is a result of the custom menu as well.

  Edit image – crop would not work

  This seems to be working correctly on my side. Are you still having trouble?

  How do I manually backup my site?

  We automatically take care of that for you so even if all of WordPress.com went down for some reason, we would save all of your site data.

  If you want to make a copy of your site, the only way to do that would be through exporting the content:

  Do you automatically update my site to the latest version of WP?

  WordPress.com automatically runs the latest version of WordPress at all times. No need to update. :)
