Editting categories

  I am revamping my blog and have just purchased the personal package in attempt to make it bigger and better. I want to re-name and delete some of the categories that i had previously. How do i do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  You many edit, delete, and otherwise manage categories and subcategories at the WP Admin Categories page. See the Managing Categories in WP Admin section of the Categories support page for relevant information and instructions.

  Hi there!

  You can delete and edit categories under Settings > Writing:

  Organize Posts with Categories

  The only thing you can’t do there is edit the category “slug” (the part of your URL that comes after /category/ in the browser’s address bar) of an existing category, so if you also want to do that, you’ll need to edit that in the WP Admin dashboard here:

  Thanks. I’d forgotten that you may now delete and edit categories at Settings > Writing in Calypso.
