EEEEK! Fatal error!!!

  So I backed up my blog, then hit the update to wordpress 2.9….and I get this beautiful message….
  Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2515174 bytes) in /home/monicac1/public_html/wp-includes/http.php on line 1331

  I am not a techie at all when it comes to code…so if you can help me, please speak ‘wordpress for Extreme Dummies…” :o(
