"Eerie photo in page"
-
Hi WordPress team,
Good day. Just wanted to bring up an eerie issue. In my “Test” page, i saw the photo of a “baby”. This “baby” picture was not added by me. In my gallery, they are all photos of LED lights.
How could this have happened?
Thank you, Ivan Hoe Ee Wu

Which page do you see this image on? Please post an active link starting with http:// to it.
It’s possible that what you are seeing is advertising. WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read features page, or advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all. The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted WordPress.com blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade.
If you think it’s possible that your blog has been hacked and you can still log-in and access the blog do what follows:
- Go here > Users > All Users and delete any user that does not belong there.
- Disable post by email > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-email/
- Disable post by voice > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-voice/
- Change your blog password to a very difficult one > http://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#change-your-password
- Use a secure, encrypted connection to connect to your Dashboard. Under Users → Personal Settings, check the box that says “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages, and click Save Changes.
- Go to your email program and change the password to a very difficult one

Dear time thief,
Thank you for your help again, very much appreciate it.
I have done all 6 steps that you listed.
As for the “eerie baby photo”, i have deleted the photo of “LED” from gallery.

Dear time thief,
same thing has happened again, except this time it’s a very small picture of “birds flying in the sky, with the moon in the background”.
Correct picture (what is in the gallery) is a glow tube in a cabinet.
This can’t be adverts run by wordpress, right?
Thanks, Ivan
