Effects of updating primary domain?

    Hi,

    I have registered a few additional new domains with WordPress all mapped to my wordpress blog. I have read the articles on mapping and subdomains, but I am still confused and have some questions.

    First scenario: Simply changing my primary domain. Currently, my primary domain is visualventuring.com. If I choose one of my other mapped domains instead (stacypfischer.com), what happens to all the links, external and internal, using visual venturing.com?

    Second scenario: Let’s say that, instead, I want to create on WordPress a website using stacypfischer.com as the address and have a heading for my visualventuring blog. First, can I create a new blog with a domain I’ve already purchased thru WP and mapped to visualventuring? Second, assuming I can do this AND include a header of my blog, would the address of the blog change if it’s accessed through the new website? And if so, the effects on internal and external linking question comes up again – any negative effects?
