Efficient responsive theme

  Hello,

  I would like to ask more skiled coleagues that has expirience with WP whetjer they could advice me some efficient theme. I have private blog for sharing certain knowledges with few people and need only layout without fancy additions or graphics.

  I use Twenty Eleven but I would like yet bit more different.

  With search on top as this theme has
  With menu with topics not pages
  And without tons of white space around of everithing
  And idealy it is free version

  I guess number of things can be altered or added but not sure I or somebody else in future can manage it.

  You can filter themes in the showcase to narrow down your options, this way you can specify free, clean, minimal themes that are responsive and good for writers – like these themes.

  On any of them you can set up a custom menu to include specific categories or tags instead of pages.

  You can also include the search widget if the theme doesn’t have a search area at the top by default. If you write about lots of different subjects then the categories widget is good too.

  In particular have a look at Scrawl, Minnow or perhaps even Ryu.
