"Eight" headings, Rich ?
-
I know it’s dumb of me (what else is new ?) – but I don’t know how to change heading properties.
I want to make a couple of ’em into small caps; and I have difficulty changing any text into small caps, let alone headings …
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can give you the exact CSS if you could make your blog public :-)
So you want to make only couple of heading into small caps? Which other text would you like to turn into upper case?
-
Btw, I mean the headings in the dropdown list within the WP editor. You know, where it ususally says ‘paragraph’ …
OK; I’ll make it public pro tem; but as I haven’t finished getting it ready, I’ll be re-privatising it again …
:-)

Oops, I thought you were wanting to change some styles on your blog.
We can’t change the styles in the WP Editor.

Sorry, silly question.
OK then: once I’ve used a heading size, can I then change it in the CSS editor ? -
Could you elaborate a bit on what do you mean by:
…the headings in the dropdown list within the WP editor. You know, where it ususally says ‘paragraph’ …

I want to take, let us say Heading 5 and make it small caps.
Oh, and Heading 6 as well.
This is because I use on for magazines/newspapers/other blogs I refer to, and the other for the name, etc., of music tracks. -

The Visual Editor support document tells me that
various formatting styles defined by your theme
and that
The style drop-down menu allows you to change the formatting of any selected text. This includes various headings and other pre-defined styles built into your theme.
Note that further style modification requires the Custom CSS Upgrade (and appropriate knowledge of CSS).
OK then: once I’ve used a heading size, can I then change it in the CSS editor ?
Of course, yes :-)
