Elegant Grunge – Featured Image?

    I’ve recently changed my blog template to Elegant Grunge and whilst I absolutely love it, I’ve realised that the option to choose a ‘feature image’ for a particular blog post isn’t available. I’ve noticed that a random image is chosen when the blog post appears in the Reader and if I link a blog post in Facebook, some of the images contained within the post are available as thumbnails and some are not. Can someone confirm if I’m able to control which image is used as a feature image when a post is listed in the Reader? Or what options are open to me regarding featured images for Elegant Grunge?

    Hi Anita – Featured images aren’t supported in that theme. The first large image attached to the post should be used, but it’s not possible to control that absolutely. You could find a theme you like just as well that has featured images:
    http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/featured-images/
