Elementor Amazon affiliate link problem

  Hi, I am having trouble inserting Amazon affiliate link through Elementor. When I insert into using the WordPress editor it seems to work but when I press update and view the page live the link disappears. When I try and do it though Elementor it doesn’t seem to work at all. I think I must be doing something wrong. If anybody can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks Emma
