Elementor and WordPress

    I have bought a subscription Elementor Pro – Expert for $199.00
    However when I got to my wordpress dashboard it says upgrade to business plan to install the plugin. Do I have to buy business plan on wordpress to be able to use elementor? I am so confused. It means I am paying too much. Isn’t wordpress dashboard free?

    Hi there,

    To use any plugins on WordPress.com requires our Business Plan, yes.

    The WordPress software is free, but hosting it online on a web server is not, and the money you paid for that plugin to another company does not pay for the services we provide you as your hosting provider.

    Thank you for the prompt reply. Ok so I understand that to be able to use Elementor pro plugin I need to buy business plan on wordpress which is £240 a year. However, I’ve already bought a plan with Elemantor (this allows me to create 25 websites). Will I have to purchase WordPress subscription for each website I create with Elementor?

    Yes. All our plans are per site we don’t offer multi-site plans.

    Please note that we’re WordPress.com the hosting provider and we are using the WordPress software to power the sites we host. There are many other hosts out there that allow you to install WordPress and build your site. So you are not limited to our services for using WordPress.
