Elementor Plugin Issue: Category Blog Posts

Hi! I am having trouble getting my blog posts to display in an attractive way on my home page. I have added them through Elementor with MTS Category Posts and MTS Recent Posts. My website is chasingbootyadventures.com
The issue is the layout. When I remove the excerpt text the alignment goes askew, but when I have the excerpts some are drawing from the summary which is good, but others are just taking text from the beginning of the posts which isn’t so good. I’ve tried editing those posts that are not displaying summaries, but nothing has worked in fixing that.
I’ve tried to add plugins that are meant to customize blog post links, but none have been compatible with Elementor. I don’t want to get rid of Elementor though because I used it to create my home page and I’m not sure how I could make it look that way without Elementor.
In short, is there a way to make these blog posts more appealing with their summaries and thumbnail images? They look too small and busy currently.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there, you’ve posted your question in the support forums for sites using the fully hosted WordPress.com platform, but your above site at chasingbootyadventures.com/appears to be using the standalone WP (org) software and is hosted at hostgator.

Standalone WP (org) and WordPressdotcom (where we are) are different entities with separate documentation and support forums; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

You can find all the support information for sites using the WP (org) software at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page and at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.

Best wishes for a quick solution.
