Elementor portfolio filter bar – rearrange items

    Hey, can anyone help me? I’m using the Elementor portfolio widget with the filter bar turned on. The filter is automatically in alphabetical order. Is there a way of changing this? I have tried using category order/taxonomy order plugins, which allow me to move the my post categories around, but the filter bar does not reflect these changes and keeps them in alphabetical order

    (I am talking about the filter bar items/titles, which are the category names, not the actual posts)

    I do not see any sites under your @waitey888 WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/sites.

    Is it possible you created your site under a different login?  Is it the case that you are you using another provider like GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc. instead? What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

    Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

    Hey Jerry, thanks for your reply. I’m new to this so I’m sorry but I haven’t listed my site. When I follow that link, it looks like it’s asking me to purchase and start building a site? My existing wordpress website is waiteandsee.co.uk that I need help with.

    I had wondered, as we do not offer Elementor on WordPress.com.

    To clarify, WordPress.com is not the sole provider of WordPress, and your host (Hostpapa) also offers WordPress… they just happen to use a different version from the version we offer here on WordPress.com.

    In this case I would suggest that you try contacting Elementor to see if they are able to help you directly: https://elementor.com/support/

    You may also wish to try your host to see if they offer WordPress support in-house at all, though as I mention if you are having trouble with a specific “plugin” on your site, it’s best to reach out to the developers of that plugin for help directly.

    Thanks for taking your time to inform me. I tried posting it on elementors community, which is facebook from the looks of it. I will go through to the pro support and see if they can help me
