  My blog posts are showing up as full posts on my front page. I can’t seem to change it at all—is there a trick I’m missing? I just want an excerpt to appear, which I have set in my Writing settings, but it doesn’t change the appearance.

  The More Tag can be added to posts to create an excerpt.
