Eliminate the darn comment box!!

  I bought the $99 package and have spent feels like hours following instructions to eliminate comment options and especially get rid of that DARN! comments box.

  Howdy,

  You can disable comments on posts/pages that have already been published by first opening the post/page in the editor. Then uncheck the boxes marked “Allow Comments” and “Allow Pingbacks” in the Discussion module.

  If you can’t see the Discussion module in the editor, you’ll want to make sure it’s enabled in Screen Options.
