Eliminate Widget Area and Center Blog Post Content Area
-
Hi there!
I need your help!
This is a Blog Post
https://strasetsglobal.com/2017/04/18/first-blog-post/As you can see, the right widget area takes huge amount of space. I would like to eliminate the widget area on the right, and center and broaden the post content area, for all posts.
Pages have the option to be attributed Full Width layouts, but the same does not seem to apply to Blog Posts on Entrepreneur theme.
Is there a way to do it?
– eliminate widget area on the right from Blog Posts, and
– center and broaden the post content area. Many thanks for your help

My apologies
I pasted a different domain into the whois when i looked to see where you were hosted. My CSS is not yet at the point where i would jump in and assist you with this. I have added a couple tags to this thread to get the right people looking.
Again, apologies

Hi Ralph, I see you have used Widget Visibility to hide the widgets on the single post pages. We can do this with the following CSS, I’ve used a 900px max width to keep readability acceptable. whereas the grey area was around 800px max width. If line length gets too long on blocks of text, it becomes harder to read. this would be the CSS to set the max width at 900px.
.single .content-area { margin-left: 0; max-width: 900px; width: 100%; }See what you think with the above and let me know.

Thank you. Yes, the theme developer advised to use Widget Visibility optionsI have found your explanation excellent. Should I restore Widget Visibility to default and then apply the CSS code?
Many thanks

Thank you!
I did it. The width of the post is great. It just now aligns to the left. It’s not centered. Pls have a look here

Ah, change that rule to the following.
.single .content-area { margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; max-width:900px; width:100%; float: none; } -
