  Due to the loss of my domain name, I recently moved the content from my self-hosted blog (eltvista.com) to a wordpress.com blog …. https://eltvista.wordpress.com/

  For some reasons, however, the blog comes up with the notice ‘eltvista.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.’

  I can load the site via the ‘My Sites’ menu from inside WordPress.com … and the content is all there. Please note that this is not a browser related problems. Any support would be appreciated …Thank you.

  Our records show that the WordPress.com eltvista.wordpress.com was deleted by its author and cannot be restored. The site that is associated with your account is:
  https://eltvisa.wordpress.com

  Note “vista” vs “visa”. If you’d like to change your site address follow this guide:

  Note to bdukes: Thanks for clearing up this up … I never noticed the missing letter. This complicate matters more, because I was the original owner of eltvista.wordpress.com – and deleted it because I moved the blog to a wordpress.org site …

  Can you please offer me any advice how I can reactivate that blog or blog name for this content?

  Final word: I’ve just registered the domain name for this blog: http://www.eltvista.org … and have updated things. End of story (unless anyone has information on retrieving eltvista.wordpress.com that was ‘deleted’ by me).

  Hi Jay,

  I’m glad I was able to clear up the confusion and that you were able to map your domain name.

  Can you please offer me any advice how I can reactivate that blog or blog name for this content?

  Unfortunately once a site is deleted it cannot be restored for any reason. We do provide warnings at the time of deletion that it is permanent and recommend keeping the site name if you ever plan to use WordPress.com again.

  One suggestion would be to rename the current eltvisa blog to something easier to remmber such as:
  eltvista2.wordpress.com
  eltvistasite.wordpress.com
  eltvistablog.wordpress.com

  Or any other available WordPress.com site names.
