I currently own my domain name midlifeescape.com at GoDaddy. I need email to go with it and can set that up through GoDaddy for $53.88/year. I want to upgrade my WordPress account so I can build my blog and website and monetize it. If I upgrade through WordPress and map over the domain name, can I also set up an (email visible only to moderators and staff) email address through WP?

Hi there,
We do not offer email hosting on WordPress.com, so you’ll still need a third-party email provider if you host your domain with us, but you can use a free email hosting service like Zoho mail instead of paying for GoDaddy-hosted email.
We do provide email forwarding for domains hosted with us, but depending on the address to which you forward, you might not be able to also reply from the @yourdomain email address – you’ll only be able to send form the forwarding address if your regular email provider allows you to use email aliases, which Gmail and Yahoo, for example, don’t allow.
