  hi – my email, (email visible only to moderators and staff) isn’t working. i recently moved from host gator and wordpress to godaddy and squarespace. I’ve called all of the companies, gave host gator my new MX info, and my email still isn’t working. I have the (email visible only to moderators and staff) email set up with my gmail to where I can send and receive email through there. Please let me know how I can get my emails to work again. Thank you

  Hi there,

  If you’re using GoDaddy, HostGator, and/or SquareSpace, you’ll need to work with their support staff. The people at WordPress.com have no access into any of those systems.

  I would suggest you work with whoever is hosting your DNS records. It could be any of them, so it may take some time to figure out.

  Also keep in mind when DNS changes, things take quite a while to fully propagate the entire internet, so there may be records that are invalid until everything times out and is forced to refresh.
