  Hi,

  I currently get my web domain and email through 123-reg. If I transfer to WordPress, does my email move too? If it doesn’t move, how will this work?
  Any help is appreciated.

  Hi Dawn,

  Your email hosting will not move to us, no. You have two options in that regard:

  If you’re able to continue using 123-reg for your email hosting even after you move your domain away from them, you can add the DNS records needed for the email to work on this end, and that email will continue to work.

  Or else, you’ll need to set up email with a different provider once the domain is with us, and then migrate your email archives from your current inbox at 123-reg to the new provider.

  For migrating email from one inbox to another you’ll need to contact the email provider you move to directly for their instructions.
