    Hi there!

I’ll be happy to help you with this. Do you know who the email service provider is for the email account you have with Namecheap? Is it something their own, or did you have an email account with Microsoft, Google, or something similar?

Depending on what service you have, you can connect the domain to the email service by adding the email service provider’s DNS records to the domain. Here’s how to add DNS records.

You may contact Namecheap support if you’re not sure about this.

I’d also suggest considering looking at migrating to Professional Email, our own email service, which is free for the first three months.

Feel free to let us know if you have more questions.

Hi, as I don’t have any notification I just catch up with your message. My mailbox is on OX so I think it’s something linked to Namecheap. I’ve already contacted the support and they lead me to a similar page than yours on how to add DNS record but honestly this kind of things are not my cup of tea at all. That’s why I’m struggling so much and I just wanted to know if there is an easy way to do it.

Of course I saw your offer with the first 3 months free but I already paid for one year with Namecheap, I’m sure you can understand.

I will try again with the links you sent me.

    Thank you

  • I had a quick look and I think I found the right document that you may need for this from Namecheap:
    https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/1340/2176/namecheap-private-email-records-for-domains-with-thirdparty-dns/

It might be worth testing in case they’re the DNS records you’d need to add here. Best of luck!

We’ll be here if anything else comes up.

I already did what recommend the Namecheap support but nothing changed. I then contacted their support and they basically told me to see with WordPress support.

  • Hey there,

    Thanks for reaching back out!

I already did what recommend the Namecheap support but nothing changed.

What changes did you make exactly?

The reason why I ask is because the above document outlines how to add custom DNS settings as so to run the DNS settings on WordPress.com. Currently, I don’t see these settings being added to WordPress.com.

    Many thanks in advance!
