  Hello… I accidentally created a new account under a new name…. and I am trying to delete it. So I can switch my main user account with the correct email address.
  One of the accounts is Montreal Invasion (www.montrealinvasion.com)
  The otherone is Asilex514 and that account is linked to the email (email visible only to moderators and staff) but I want to use that email for my main account. And delete asilex 514. Haven’t been able to figure it out on my own. Please help!

  Hey there @asilex514,

  While WordPress.com does not allow users to delete their accounts, you can scrub all the information by following the instructions on our support page for Deleting Accounts.

  As for reusing your desired email address, all you need to do is log in to the account currently using this email and change it to something else. Once changed, you can then reuse the email on a different account. More on this can be found on the Update Email support page under the section titled “Issues Changing your Email Address”.

  Hi Asilex514,

  Every WordPress.com user account has a unique email address, so you can’t create two accounts with the same email address.

  If you want to use Asilex514’s associated email address with Montreal Invasion, change Asilex514’s email address to another active email address so your desired email will be free to use with your Montreal Invasion account. You’ll receive an email to confirm the change.

  You can modify your email address by visiting your Account Settings.

  Once you’ve freed up your primary email address, just update your Montreal Invasion email address.

  It looks like that site (www.montrealinvasion.com) is not hosted with WordPress.com.

  The forum you’ve posted in only provides support for sites hosted here at WordPress.com

  If you need support for a WordPress site hosted somewhere other than here at WordPress.com, please try posting your question in the WordPress.org support forums.
