    I no longer have a Go Daddy website, but they still hold my domain name, and provide continuing email service – (email visible only to moderators and staff) – which I access through my Apple Mail app.
    How can I avoid any disruption in that service by joining WordPress?

    Hi there,

    To connect that domain to a WordPress.com site, you’ll need the domain mapping upgrade included in our paid plans.

    Once you add that mapping upgrade, we will attempt to import any existing DNS records on your domain, including the records needed for your email to work, or if that fails, you can add those DNS records manually to your domain:

    Do that first, before switching the name servers to us, and there shouldn’t be any disruption to your email when you switch the domain to point to us, as the required DNS records will already be in place on this end.
