  trying to change my email address to receive a friend’s blog post because I have missed several recent posts due to not receiving them in my other email

  You can change your account email address from here:

  https://wordpress.com/settings/account/

  Please note that the change will not immediately take effect as you will receive a validation email at the new email address. Make sure to click the link in the validation email to confirm the email address change.

  I thought I had done just that, but am still not receiving the posts. Very frustrating since I’m missing a lot!

  If the email you have on file is the one you want, have you checked your email notifications to make sure that they are enabled to receive posts?

  is this something I do within wordpress or on my computer? sorry to sound computer illiterate, but some of this stuff simply evades my comprehension!!!

  thank you for all your help! with a little bit of patience and surfing the wordpress site, i figured it out. my email notifications for the blog i am following were turned off…just as you had suspected! not as computer illiterate as i thought!!
