  Hi. I’m in the process of trying to set a page up…. will my email address show anywhere? I don’t want it to, but can’t tell if it will show to people reading my page? thanks

  Hi,

  Your email will not show up on the page, don’t worry. Your name can show though. However, you can disable that by installing the Hide/Remove Metadata plugin:

  Hide/Remove Metadata

  Activate the plugin in your dashboard.

  Head over to Dashboard > Hide/Remove Metadata page to configure the plugin settings.

  Select PHP in the dropdown menu.

  Turn on the Hide Author option and Save Changes.

  @loopink you do not need any plugin. There’s no need to show either your email address or your name. The users will only see your display name (nickname).

  If you’d like them to be able to contact you, you can add a contact form to your site – the email address will not be displayed to anyone.

  lucindapincott.worpress.com seems to have been deleted already so you won’t see it anywhere.
  However, your account will be associated with any WordPress.com site you create. You may choose to display it in your profile or not, you can do so from here:
