Email address already being used

When I joined the website I was not able to put in the .com version of my address as the site states it was already being used although I’ve never had a blog but I do follow your website as a reader. I put in the co.uk version but the confirmation email has never arrived. Please help

Just to clarify, are you logged in under the “new” account you’ve been trying to create, or the “old” account you used before to use the reader?
If you log into your old account, you can add a new blog/website to your existing account by clicking the link below:
https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?ref=newdash-myblogs-bottom
That way, you won’t have to worry about verifying the account–and it will be much simpler than juggling two separate accounts.
