Email address associated with account

  Hi,

  I’ve been hired to manage a company’s website, but they have no idea which email address they originally used to create their WordPress account. This means I have no way of accessing it.

  Please can you tell me what to do in this situation. Is there any way we can prove we are the account owners, and change the associated email address?

  cheftrapps.com is not connected to WordPress.com.

  There are 2 different versions of WordPress. What we do at WordPress.com is different from using the open source installation of WordPress. The installation is what you use with a hosting provider. More about these differences are available here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  This domain is registered through GoDaddy. You can contact them for assistance with the domain.

  The domain is pointed to DNS-PANTHEON.NET which is likely the host of the current site.

  For help you can contact your domain registrar (GoDaddy) or hosting provider. The WordPress community forums at wordpress.org/support/ are also available.

  Unfortunately, I am unable to help look at this further since I do not have access to your accounts at these places.
