    While logged into your WordPress.com account, go to your Account Settings page and change your email address.

    When you click the “Save Account Settings” button, there’ll be a message saying that there’s a pending change. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and click the link within to verify your email address. The old address just gets a notice saying the change has been requested. There isn’t a confirmation link included in that one so you don’t need access to that account.
