    I need to change my primary email address. However, I get an error saying the new one is ‘Already being used’. 1) I have no idea where it’s being used & 2) how do I delete it from being used so I can use it as my primary?

    Hi there,

    If the email you want to use is already associated with another account, the only way to use it for this account is to log into the other account, and change it’s email to something else.

    If you don’t remember what account you used that email address for, log out of this account, and enter the email address on the password reset form at https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

    You’ll receive a password reset link that will allow you to log into the other account and make any changes you need to.
