Email address change still pending?

My profile is showing that my updated email address is still pending . I changed it such a long time ago that I can’t remember if I received a confirmation email or not. [Senior Citizen!] Please can you sort it for me?

Is it not possible to resend the confirmation email?

I actually have 2 blogs with WordPress and one explanation I read on your site mentions difficulty with ‘freeing up’ but I really can’t understand what I’m supposed to do. I want to use my new email address on both sites.

You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

I actually have 2 blogs with WordPress
Are both WordPress.com sites under the same username account (smiffy37) or are they entirely different username accounts/sites?
Since the support doc timethief linked to above about issues changing one’s email address specifically requests
If you requested the change but did not receive the e-mail confirmation to finalize it (or the confirmation did not work), please contact support.

Oh dear …. I’d thought it was all sorted but only one of my blogs notices is going to my new email address. The email notifications sent from my photo blog [smiffpic.wordpress.com] are still going to my old address. It’s showing it’s awaiting the confirmation. I have the same user name for both blogs. Sorry – I’m an old lady in a muddle!
