    I want to use mailer Lite linked to my wordpress.com site. I get this message. ‘Verify your website ownership. We need to verify that you have access to an email address that is connected to your website domain. For example, http://www.mailerlite.com and (email visible only to moderators and staff). Please enter your email address and we’ll send you a verification email.’

    Custom email addresses like that are not available for free WordPress.com addresses, no. To have an email address like that you’d need to add a custom domain to your site:

    Then you can either set up email forwarding, or connect a hosted email account from another provider:
