Why can't I confirm my email address change?

I had changed my email address from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
I clicked on the confirmation link in gmail. however, in my settings, I am getting messageThe new address will not become active until confirmed.”

I don’t see any attempts to change your email address on your account.
Were you changing it on your account, or just your blog?

I do see the attempt to change it on your blog.
The confirmation link should have a trailing slash, and some email provides, like GoDaddy webmail, strip this out. Please make sure that the link has a trailing slash and try again.

At this point, it’s possible that the link has expired. Please try changing it in the Dashboard one more time to get a fresh link.
